How does the plan work?

We will forecast the cost of oil for the coming year by looking at the amount of energy used at your address for the same time period last year. That amount will be divided into 11 monthly payments, and the 12th payment in June will be a settlement amount.

When can I begin the budget payment plan?

You must begin in June. You also need to be current with your payments.

Will I know how much oil I'm using each month?

Each month you'll receive an up-to-date statement of your account showing the budget amount due, as well as the actual amount of oil you used. You will receive an invoice for each delivery indicating how much oil was delivered.

Do I pay the same amount each month?

To ensure the accuracy of your monthly payment, your budget is reviewed each month. Your monthly payment may change if we review your budget and find there's a significant difference in your oil usage, or weather that is much colder or warmer than the previous year. The results of the review will be shown on your bills; if your budget amount changes, the new amount will be due with your next month's bill.

Is there any cost to join?

There's no charge to participate in the Budget Payment Plan.
